Who is behind this Club?

We are a bunch of people working behind the club to make MTB more secure, more fun, and more of a community. All of us deeply love Mountain Biking and bring a variety of experience into the table.

The CLUB itself is legally registered as a Non Profit Company with the Government of Nepal.

Santosh Rai | Enterpreneur

Santosh is an absolute legend. With experiences in Israel and Spain, he started Himalayan Single Track in Nepal which today is one of the most accomplished mountain biking companies – and he is a dealer for both GIANT and SCOTT bikes in Nepal. His forward-thinking and community-building skills are his biggest assets. He is the Chairperson of this Board

Nishma Shrestha | National Downhill Athlete

No one believed Nishma when she started in Mountain Biking. But her perseverance in a discipline dominated by mostly male riders led her to become the top downhill female rider in South Asia, winning her a Gold medal at the SAF games. She is also very active in promoting better skills in Mountain Biking and bringing more women into this sport. She is the Vice Chairperson of this Board.

Ajay Narsingh Rana | Enterpreneur, National MTB Coach & Photographer

Ajay is a multi-talented (we have not added all his skills up here), but most importantly he coaches Nepali MTB athletes – and his knowledge of MTB skills is top in Nepal. He is currently the General Secreatary of this Board

Mingma Sherpa | Trainer and Social Media Expert

Mingma is a keen MTB enthusiast and a skills Trainer. Most importantly, she has been training First Aid Skills to adventure enthusiasts from the Himalayan Medics. her TikTok videos are a sensation. She is the Treasurer in the Board

Raj Gyawali | Enterpreneur, Philanthropist, Tedx Speaker

Raj has always been an adventure enthusiast, and very inclined to Mountain Biking. He has been instrumental to develop several MTB initiatives in Nepal and abroad – biggest amongst them being the Kora Cycling Challenge – which is the biggest Charity Ride in South Asia – which yearly brings together 4000 riders all over Nepal and in select countries around the world, to ride a challenge for charity. He is a board member. When not MTB’ing – he runs socialtours – a soft adventure outfit based in Nepal.

Diwas Pradhan | Cycling Activist & Event Organiser

Diwas does almost everything related to cycling, and has been an activists for cycling rights from as far as he can remember. He started the first Cycling Event Organising company in Nepal, Pangro Outdoor Events. He is a member of the Board.
